Following the results of the “EVP Barometer 2015” done by American Express Global Business Travel, in 2015 the expense of the European
companies has increased 1,42% from the year before: more than double predicted, that yes it was going to increase but only a 0,7%. We should say,
we travel differently nowadays, reducing costs, shorter travels and alternating business class with low cost, but we continue travelling: even if digital
increases, nothing can beat a hand shake. And the trend is going up: the study of the “Barometer” says that the expense in the business travel
department will continue to improve even in 2016, between 1 and 3%.
So we can say that the main priorities for the business travellers have deeply changed: the “Barometer” has done a classification with the 3 main “must
have” priorities for companies that nowadays organise business travelling and have the most important guidelines when choosing services, from the hotel to
the car park at the airport.
